ABOUT

Let’s tackle the basics, I have a bachelor’s degree and over 25 years experience in communications for diverse organizations from commercial real estate (and calculating vacancy rates) to non-profits like the Gardens on Spring Creek to local government like the City of Fort Collins. The hardest projects were the most rewarding! I have tackled a web content overhaul, a community visioning project, the City’s Budgeting for Outcomes, development review guides, financial annual reports, and air quality trend reports.

I am the founding Art Director for NoCo Bloom, an award-winning gardening circular. I am proud of my work for the Gardens on Spring Creek, my logo for The Carnegie Center for Creativity, and “Call of Doodie” an award-winning, pet waste campaign.

I have garnered about 15 awards and recent awards include two Graphic Design USA Inhouse Design Awards, three 3CMA awards for Find Your More, Pooch Plunge and Call of Doodie, and a few more. I also spearheaded the electronic Development Review Guide and Plan Van Tours, both recipients of Colorado Chapter American Planning Association awards in 2008.

In 2019, my fellow employees honored my team for excellence with an Employee Recognition Award and, in 2008, me personally as a “World Class Person."

My tools include iPhone (the best!), Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office, VideoShop, iMovie and elbow grease. My expertise encompasses everything from a one-page press release, executing conferences, email marketing campaigns and growing social media accounts.
